Roadheader

Roadheaders offer a unique capability and flexibility for the excavation of soft to medium strength rock formations, therefore, are widely used in underground mining and tunnelling operations. CREG's series of roadheaders offers the best cutting performance in a wide range of rock formations. Equipped with geometrically optimized transverse cutter heads, these flexible machines can be used for a wide range of applications such as rehabilitation of existing tunnels and excavation of underground caverns.

Application:

Shijiangshan Maglev Train Tunnel, Beijing, China
Shijiangshang Maglev Train Tunnel is part of the first maglev train line S1 in Beijing. 8 stations are set up on this 10.2km S1 line and the whole trip takes 20 minutes. Minimum turning radius of the maglev train is 75m. To greatly reduce the disturbance above ground in the dense residential area, CREG roadheader was used for excavation.

Application:

Zengjiayan Multifunction Tunnel, Chongqing, China
Zengjiayan Mutifunction Tunnel is the key structure of the landmark across-district road and railway project in mountainous city Chongqing, China. The whole project spans 5.63km and mainly includes 5.54km tunnels and one 0,55km multifunction bridge over Jialing River.

Guiyang Bageyan Express Railway Tunnel Project 


Bapiyan Expressway Tunnel is a major project of Guiyang Avenue A, a key municipal project in Guiyang. The left line is 1197 meters, right line is 1171 meters. It is designed as a separate two-way and six-lane tunnel with a cross­section of 16m (wide)*9m (high). The rock properties are mainly weathered dolomite, limestone and marl. CTR323 started operation on October 31, 2017. The operation lasts about 10 hours per day 

Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway Project 


The Southeast Connection Line Project of Guanping Tunnel of Oianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway is located in Shati, Yongding, Zhangjiajie. The rock is of Grade N and V. The tunnel is 433m and its section area is about 30m. The speed of cutting head is up to 61 r/min, which greatly improves the cutting efficiency of soft rock. The equipment runs smoothly, which lays a good foundation for the construction of the project tunnel
